The Cumberland River Quarry in Salem, Kentucky is currently recruiting for a Laborer. Only on-line applicants will be considered / evaluated.

Laborer-Classification Description:
- Signed off on both 50 and 100 ton Haul Trucks.
- Signed off on Water Truck.
- Signed off on Skid Steer, Back Hoe and Man Lift.
- Must have general knowledge of Scalping Plant and Wash Plant. Know how to inspect plant and recognize malfunctions before startup and during operation.
- Show competency with all safety standards and operating procedures for each area.
- Must have a good attendance record, have a good attitude towards job, be responsible for minimal to no property damage incidents. (All incidents will be subject to review by management)
- Complete job duties to the satisfaction of their supervisor
Basic Requirements:
- Do you have the ability and desire to work 12-hour shifts?
- Do you have the willingness and flexibility to work weekend or overtime as needed?
- Do you have the ability to do manual labor including lifting items as heavy as 50 pounds?
- Do you have the ability and desire to work during inclement conditions including extreme heat and cold?
- Do you have the ability to climb ladders, stairs, and preform repetitive bending and stooping when required?
- Do you possess excellent communication skills and work well with all personnel at the Quarry?
- Are you motivated and a self-starter?
- Are you willing to work night shift?
